Not all of them looked like that, though.
Some had a smaller wing, like the mid-eighties 200sx's, which came straight out the back. I don't have a picture handy, though I'm sure someone does. I believe these were only available in 87 on TII's, but GXL's and Sport's had them in 86 and 87.
Starting in 88, all wings looked like those already shown.
Not all turbos had wings on 87, but I think they did starting in 88.

Turboren are you referring to the sport lip spoiler? I have one of those, but im not sure if I want to use it. Was the TII spoiler used on any other models, such as the GXL? Someone has one for sale in the FS section, and if theyre the same I might get it.

Raised wing-type spoiler came on TII only, I think, until 89. I think they started coming on all but the 4-lug models then. All 91's had them.
Both the factory rear spoilers are make of urethane foam, wrapped around a small steel frame for the fasteners. This makes them light and resilient, but also somewhat prone to fasteners pulling out of them. The fasteners also have a nasty tendency to rust, and can easily break during removal if care is not taken. You're f*cked if this happens, as the studs are welded to the wing frame, so you'll be spending a lot of time trying to make something work.
I think the 87-88 wings have a slightly different shape from those of the 89-up models, kinda like how the TII mirrors differer based on the series.
