Take a look at this diagram:

It's for an automatic transmission model. In Japan they had turbo models with automatic transmissions. Could your throttlebody be like this? It's hard to tell from one picture. The manual transmissions were a bit simpler.

attached is the picture from the JDM parts catalog, the part you are pointing to is 13-W7Y, which is listed as MT. the AT does have a different part number for the whole throttle body, so possibly the AT version does not have this thing at all.

the US throttle body has this part too, but, it is a different part number N332-20-130. the JDM number is N330-13-W7Y.

arghx my t.b is not like this, i know its hard to tell with the picture.
Its like j9fd3s picture , but even in the jdm catalog the 'filter' is not listed, its probably coming with the diaphragm when u order it.

The diaphragm exit does not go to a vacum source ,a delay valve or the thermowax.
The exit nipple is going to a kind off filter ive seen it somewhere, but does this 'filter'
need to act like a filter or a cap that is the question. This t.b is pretty simple, theres no vacum delay valves and associated lines.

heres a quote from rotaryrocket88, from thread: A jpg of a JDM throttle body needed

The delay valve on the tertiary plates has no vacuum hookup like you would see with the US double throttle setup. The plates move regardless of engine temperature. The black plastic piece sticking out the side of the valve/diaphragm is a vent to allow it to pull in/push out air.

does this black vent need to have restriction build in or not?

since the restriction is clearly in the diaphragm, then the filter doesn't need one.

it looks like the little filter that is found on the emissions solenoids
