Uh...why are you waiting to shift until 8k? You've reached your peak HP way before that...

Hey vosko what was your suspension set at? I'm runnin KYB AGX's with Nitto drag radials and was wondering what to set the rears at. I have pretty much the same mods as you and hoping I run a good time like that.

Ito, you sound like a helluva guy...hopefully I get to meet you at the BBQ. The RX-7 world needs more tuners as helpful as you. (Not saying that other tuners aren't helpful...just that there aren't that many.)

umm because if i rev each gear to 8000 i'm exactly at 8000 rpm in 3rd gear at the end of the 1/4 one less shift means a faster time

I did 13.64 1/4 in mine. I bet if I wound out 3rd gear to 9K I would have been in the low 13's. Hmm. Good thinking VOSKO! =)

Where did you get that TID? I want one! Someone tell me! I don't want to see it over $100 either. =)

actually i think it helps you have 100k+ mile shocks and springs. they are better for drag racing i had to keep playing with mine to get it just right. also played with the tire pressure

I've been ranting on doing that as opposed to using PVC for a while now. What diameter did you use 3"? Got any pics of it outside the car?

im not calling you a liar BUT , your 60ft times dont seem realistic to me . 1.929 ? on 712's ? i can see if you were using slicks , but not on street radials . where did you make this pass ? island on saturday night ? i just need to see it before i believe it . if you did make that pass , damn ! thats good **** . anyway hows that windsheild holding up ? maybe we can meet up at island this week , i might be going on friday b/c my friend is buying an mr2 turbo tomorrow . i wont be running though , my engine is not 100% compression is low , but runs good . j-spec coming soon !

Good job. I want to have a fast N/A until I get my TII Engine. Would it be a problem to put a 13BT in my 87' Base RX-7. PM me & let me know what I have to do. Thanks.
