TII radiator = N/A radiator ??

Just hit the front end of my TII and the radiator is wrecked. Was wondering if it possible to go to the junk yard and pick up an NA radiator ? OR should I find a aftermarket replacement ?

Thank for the help.

You should have no problem using an N/A rad on your TII, I think

since yours is wrecked why replace it with a junk yard one? I bought a Griffin 26x17x2.5 rad to support my future horsepower goals. Now is the best time to get a performance rad since yours is dead.

If your old radiator has a pressure cap and the new one doesn't, make sure you have a pressure cap on the thermostat housing that has the outlet to the overflow bottle. (some RX-7s had 2 pressure caps). My RX-7 radiator had got swapped (before I bought it) and the one they put in didn't have a pressure cap. The cap on the radiator housing didn't have a tube going to the overflow. I think pressure built up in the system and blew a coolant seal. I bought it with a blown seal and thats the first thing I noticed when I popped the hood. Overflow bottle didn't have anything to hook up to.
