TII price?

OK, my friend has my dream car and he's gonna sell it... It has about 91K with some problems. First theres an exhaust leak(hopefully gasket) we dont know yet though. 2nd the idle is really bad. It starts and then if u leave ur foot off the accelerator it will most likely die all though ive had it start and idle good after i got done racing it. The inside is leather and clean...nothing is bad with electrical....kinda bad gas mileage maybe O2 sensor? anyways he paid 1200 for it and i think i should offer about 1700 cuz theres a new flywheel on there. PLease help me out with the price and also some of the problems i mentioned....and also check out my cold weather starting problems forum....help me out on that one too

1700 for a running TII in good shape is a fair price.

Re: TII price?

Be more specific with your info so we can help you better,91k on the motor or the body? What kind of flywheel? That will help us name a good price. When my MAFS went on me I had to hold my foot on the gas to keep it running that could be it but they don't go often. You still might wanna check into it though.Good luck. Got pics?

Im in a diff area but 1700 for a running TII thats not all beat up would be a great price. Is it a S5? You should figure out what is causing the bad idle, then youll know just how good of a deal you have.

All right. It has a remanufactured flywheel(the kid is cheap!) So i would guess factory flywheel¿
Anyways it has 91K all around. Body, motor, turbo(needs to be rebuilt i know) Anyways I dont have pics but its white with the hood scoop. Pretty sweet looking i must say....kinda makes me cream my pants everytime (j/k) Anyways I need to get the idle fixed(did they make idle control valves on rotarys>?) hopefully 2100 all together when car is fixed(incl price of car) Also any guess on MPG? O2 sensor? also i took it in for inspection and the guy told me the Mass Air flow sensor was bad. he said 1400$ i hope he is BSing me
Thx

Its an 88 10 AE just too add. I know its a steal...he needs to sell it to me now though ....Eager

2100 for a TII is still good. If the owner fixes everything that is wrong and you pay only 2100 its still good. As for the mpg do the regular 60k checkup. New filters (fuel/air), plugs, wires, O2 that should help. Also get used to the bad mpg. It wont get much better.

$2100 for a 10th Anniversary with a few minor issues is not a bad deal. Especially if the body and motor are in good condition.

Buy it and don't rice it out.

Two words: Buy it. Be one of the few, the proud, the 10AE owners.
