Ok everyone, I have a 90 GTUs, its nice, gets the job done. Well a guy said he would trade my car for his, he has a 88 TII. I drove it and it drives well, BUT when it gets to normal operating temperature it starts bogging down and feels almost like its holding back seriously. He thinks it may be electrical, but I dont know what else it could be. Has anyone else had this problem and is it a big trouble or expensive to fix?

 

does it backfire ? Does it smoke? is there throttle response? How is the idle.

 

It seems to idle well, I only got to drive it for like 10 minutes. Its like while its still warming up it runs well, but when it gets to its operating temp its like its holding back and bogging down. It does backfire but only slightly. I had a bad TPS in my GTUs and that backfired like hell, so I know how that would sound. Its just weird its almost like something is holding it back.
