Which TII Intake Manifold is Better?

I know the s5 IM has longer and bigger runners than the s4 IM. My question is how does this affect power? If I guessed I would think that the s4 IM would have a broader power band but the s5 would be stronger up top.

it's hard to say because the s5 intake manifold mates up to different shaped intake ports, so there are multiple factors. The runner section on the s5 irons (where the LIM mates up) is bigger than on the s4, you can see that just by looking at the LIM gaskets. I have both sets of irons at my house and have been noting the differences. I think according to FC3S pro the actual aperture of the port is smaller on the s5. I don't have two sets of stock irons to compare though.

once you change the turbo, and or port the Irons...the whole equation changes.
