TII Injectors? Need Help. . .

I have an 87 TII with the top half of the engine taken apart and all the parts in the back and I'm trying to figure out if I have the correct injectors. The injectors that came with the car are purple, which I determined are high-impedence 550s. But the problem is that the clips on the harness don't match and were broken when the previous owner forced them onto these injectors. I just want to put this car to stock for now. So I guess I just want to know what the stock injectors should be. Also, I'm not sure I understand the difference between high and low-impedence. Which is better for what? Any helpful information/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Chris

Straight off http://www.rotaryresurrection.com

There's really no better/worse with the impedance that I know of, the injectors just need to match the ecu.

That's perfect! Thank you. Now another question I have is whether or not I can run the s4 injectors in s5 fuel rails?

I'm pretty sure that'd be a go. The injectors are physically the same. The only question would be the rail mounting position. I think they're the same.

The mounting positions do indeed seem to be the same. Thanks for the help guys.

You would need to put in a resistor (or maybe it's the opposite way...). Either way, match up the resistance and they should work just fine.
