TII hood scoops are not centered?!?

TII hood scoops are not centered?!?

This pic makes it seem that the scoops aren't centered, is that right? I have never really paid too much attention when I have seen the few turbos here:

Correct, the scoops ARE NOT centered. I guess Mazda just liked it that way.

It is offcentered by a bit. That pics and color really exagerates it though.

I heard that most of the engine is to the left (if in car) probly to even out weight of driver because theyre on the right side in jap, who knows, and to look different.

the turbo and intake are on the pass side so the engine so the engine might be moved over a bit to the drivers (US). also the where the engine is has nothing to do with where the scoop is. it's where the IC is that matters. which is towards the driver side.

i know it doesnt matter where the IC is, just saying I heard that most of the engine is slightly off center and I gave one reason why it miggggggght be like that

no it is just because of the positioning of the intercooler.
