TII Hood questions. Yes, I have searched.
Alright.. well, as we all know, if you switch to an FMIC and leave the hood scoop from the TII hood vented, you can run into some airflow issues. I have personally encountered these, and have since then ghetto-rigged a block-off for the scoop.
Here's my question:
Aside from going to an N/A hood, or getting a completely new hood altogether, are there any options that would make the hood more functional for a car with a front-mount?
I did notice a drop in coolant temperatures (I used to get near 210F occasionally in the summer, now the car rarely surpasses 200--big difference for sure), but I always have wanted to try something different with the scoop.. has any one done any thing original or have any good suggestions?
I might just end up going to an N/A hood, but I think it'd be neat to pull a one-off design for a revision on the current scoop.
Thanks dudes.
