Any of you TII motor guys running block offs and kept a cat? I ask because I have installed a TII motor/ECU/ complete harness into a GXL for a friend. I think it would make life easier buy blocking off every thing I don't need but want to keep a cat in line to pass emissions. Is this possible? I know on several na motors I have made them pass with just a cat but never messed with a TII other than my 91TII which has a high flow cat and all emission equipment still on it.

So if you can pass emissions (sniff test) and have blocked off items (Split air valve / EGR / ACV / and BAC under the hood please reply.

His car will get a full after market exhaust down the road once he gets an FCD, Boost controller, and a boost guage.

Ive ran mine 2years with blockoff plates. And with the main cat, and no 2nd cat. Ivehad no problems. But thats a good question, I never thought to ask.
