is it difficult to swap out suspension?

i bought a set of shocks and springs, all put togeather, and just need to pull the old out and put the new in. it doesnt look too difficult, but if anyone has any hits or could tell me if its harder than i'm thinking it is i'd help me out a bunch

yea, thats pretty much it, on both fronts un hook the brake line from the holder, then take out the two bolts on the botom of the strut and then un bolt the top four strut top nuts and prepare to catch the old one then slide the new one up in there and go in reverse. then on the rear its one bolt on the botom and two up top, very similar to the top but you dont have to worry about the brake line and its a lot easier.

thats exactly what i was thinking

someone told me i might have to drop the lower controll arms in the rear to get the shock out.

does that sound right?

You don't need to drop it to get the shock out, but you probably need to drop it to get the shock back in. Then you can use a jack to lift it back up to the right level.

the rears are the easiest thing in the world. you don't even have to take the wheel off(although it would make it easier for the first time). there's one bolt underneath, and the two inside the car(under the speaker), and you can pull it off. when putting it back on, after you get the top bolts in place have someone push down like on the brake rotor untill its low enough to slide the new shock in place. you'll see what I mean when you look at it..

hopefully that made some sense.
