TII engine harness question

I am putting a TII engine into a 88 GXL. It has the TII wiring harness and I need to know what else I need to hook it up to my car. Can I just take off my old harness and plug the TII harness into it along with the TII ECU? Can I just plug the TII instrument cluster in or do I need to modify anything to get the boost guage to work correctly?
Thanks!

You will AT LEAST need a TII Flywheel and Clutch assembly, and probably a TII transmission, driveshaft, rearend, and halfshafts. N/A drivetrains can't take the power. Not sure about the harness, some things are different (twin scroll solenoid, boost sensor), while others are in different places (BAC valve). Don't worry about the factory boost gauge, it never works right anyways. Get an Autometer or other aftermarket gauge. Good luck

oops, you already have a TII harness. Disregard that part.

if you dont have the t2 tranmission then the t2 flywheel wont work.
i think all you need is the engine harness and ecu, i have an na cluster in my t2 and it works fine (i like the voltmeter, and if you do any mods than the stock boost gauge is pegged all the time anyways), i have heard that you need the harness from the altrenator to the car too but im not sure about that

I am getting the transmission and clutch from the TII also. Is the rear end that different or can I just change the yoke on the driveshaft to allow it to fit the NA rearend. At this point, I do not plan on doing many mods to the engine, just a street port and better exhaust, sowould this be too much for the NA rear end?
Thanks for the reply!
