TII clutch fork

I am putting a TII tranny in my miata, and it was missing the clutch fork. I got another one, but I don't have the bolt that goes along with it. Does anyone know the size of the bolt that is needed? Thanks

it isn't a bolt, it is a clutch fork pivot ball. You can find them on Mazdatrix.com for about $9-10 bucks + shipping.

oh sweet. Thanks, I'll look into it

One more question, how would I tell which TII tranny I have, I see they have a split right at 89 for the 2 different pivot *****

Is there a definitive answer to determining the year of the transmission? I don't want to order the wrong part. I checked the trans over and didn't see any serial numbers on it, which was weird.

if you go this link https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...18#post5131218 you will find links to factory service manuals. if you look on page A7-25 of the series 4 link (86-88) you will see pics of the 87-88 t2 tranny. I don't know what page the s5 tranny is on in its link though.
