TII for 1200 bucks?

TII for 1200 bucks?
I'm looking at getting a TII to replace my old rex. I'm not much of an FC guy when it comes to knowledge, being more FD and SA(FB) affluent.
The thing has a bad clutch, starts up fine, compression check went well, mid 8's on both rotors.
Well, should I buy it or not? Its black by the way.

How about the coolant seals....
I have a TII with fantastic compression but the coolant seals are shot to hell. Needs a rebuild.
Still, good compression and new exhaust. Yeah. $1200 is a good deal if the body is straight.
