TII 1/4 mile time slips...
I am looking for times from TIIs that have the basics: intake, dp, mp, catback, and fcd. Just want to see where that gets you. Thanks alot.

on my 87 with turbo back RB (dp, presilencer, cat back), and fcd i ran a 14.2@97.5. When I added my intake I noticed a huge gain and about 2psi. I'd imagine I would have knocked off at least a 13.9.

I got almost 3 psi from my 3'' TID and cone filter. I have that, a FDC, RBs 3.15'' dp, a 3'' midpipe, HKS 60mm catback, ported wastegate, Walboro pump, a TurboXS BOV, a 4 puck clutch, etc. and my car feels like a good mid-low 13s car.

Persona non grata
Back in about 97 I ran a 13.86@103.7 with just a few things:
Homemade downpipe, midpipe
Dynomax catback
Manual boost controller set to about 12psi
Jacobs plug wires
Filter lid removed with stock filter, passenger side FTP lens removed
Lightened the car, stock it had no P/S, I removed the A/C and airpump ... plus a few other things. I weighed it at the time on a grain scale. Think it was 2720
Stock Mazda reman engine with about 15K miles, stock turbo
Not to bad a time - especially considering it was the one and only time I had ever ran at the strip.

You're expecting 13's soon, right?

Do it right, do it once

87 TII, rebuilt turbo, 142K mile motor.
Only mods to the engine were:
FCD
2.25" DP and presilencer, very old HKS stuff
3" straight pipe cat-back
ACT clutch and 17lb RB flywheel
Cheapy cone filter on stock intake duct
We ran several 13.4's @ 104-105.5mph. The car weighed about 2450-2500lbs at the drags. '60 times ranged from 2.098 to 1.982.
A friend with a complete (not lightened) 88 TII with just a RB DP and presilencer, HKS foam filter and a homemade FCD ran a best of 14.098 @ 98 mph.
