tightening throttle cable

i have a 90 t2 and for some reason my gas pedal has a litle bit of play in it when its not pressed. i think the throttle cable is a little bit loose. how do i adjuste it? i know its a scrwe that a turn, but which one thanks

On an S4 n/a, anyway, there's a couple of nuts (12mm? can't remember) on either side of the cable support/ standoff bracket on the UIM/TB...you loosen one, then turn the other to adjust...I think your setup might be different though...

its the same as s5, you can get it real tight to where its like a trigger but dont over tighten it, it will keep the throttle plates open a bit and wont idle low.

See page F2-37 of the FSM for info on correctly adjusting the throttle cable.
