TID question?
I was wondering if anyone would know if it would be more responsive if I had a 3" TID to move the air filter to the front of the engine bay, or to simply have an air filter clamped directly on the turbo? Thanks in advance!

No difference, unless you can get it out of the hot air from the radiator.
What about the AFM, or are you running a freestanding ECU?

Even if you don't have an AFM, clamping the filter straight onto the turbo is just a bad idea. It's the hottest place in the engine bay. Do you really want the engine breathing that air? The pod filter should be in the front corner of the engine bay (or in the nose), completely seperated from the hot engine bay and fed cool air from outside. This will increase power across the rev range and reduce the likelyhood of detonation.
