this TID adiquit??

the TID that was in my car when i bought it(and still is) is made of rubber, no cracks, holes, good cond. Is this OK or do I need a metal one, I'd post a pic but still trying to get scanner working

is it the stock TID or something that someone made? Sounds like the stock one, so I'd say to upgrade it to either one you make yourself, or buy the metal one offered by Chris Sanders (I believe that's the guy who sells those). I made my own and it's not that hard. I did that and a cone filter, air box at the same time, and the box was actually the hardest part. The TID was pretty straight forward

turns out the mysterious TID was similar to the one on 1300cc.com but two inch ABS pipe, so I bought the parts to make a 3in. TID and swaped them

that's what I'm talking about
