I'm thinking about putting one of those on my car. Is that the "dark gray" or "plain" finish?

the gray finish. Honestly, you cant touch the build quality on the TiAL. Nice V-Band clamp, perfect finish. Its awesome.

it was 289 + shipping. Plus 100 bucks to have the flange welded to the pipe.

I've heard nothing but good things about those BOV's.

Geez, that's an expensive weld job. It looks nice, though.

Where did you get the BOV?

Nice BOV.

Speaking of which, I have a few questions regardng them.

Where exactly is the stock blow off valve? Do you replace the stock one with the aftermarket one (IE it goes in the same place)? Is there anywhere you can go to hear what different BOVs sound like before buying one? Do you need to upgrade your intercooler/intercooler piping to install an aftermarket BOV?

Thanks!

The stock BOV is attached to pipe running from the turbo compressor to the intercooler. If you have the stock ecu and stock intercooler, just leave the stock BOV. Its fine. Most aftermarket BOV's (like the TiAL) vent to atmosphere and cause the car to stumble with the stock ecu.

Evil: It was a little extra, i had a small flange welded on the other side for the idle air control, so that brought the price up. I bought mine from Shane Racing, though he is out of the grey TiALs.
