Well the story goes I was racing an Integra and when I let off the throttle was stuck open. I try and rev it to see if it releases but that doesn't work. I limp home and start checking stuff out.

Throttle cable is very loose. I have to pull on it a lot for it to open the throttle.
The pedal also has lots of play in it. But I can still make it rev more by pressing down. I took a look at the butterflys and they all look fine. The front one is open a little and the rear ones are closed.

How do I fix this? Do I just need to tighten the cable? If so, how? Thanks in advance.

Check for gunk on the throttle plate shafts. The throttle will be a bit loose when adjusted properly. Check your springs on the outside of the TB on all of the bellcranks...
