Question Throttle Position Sensor....

Just wondering i set my tps to 1 volt engine hot but if i stop the engine and hook the leds up no lights are lit??????? i have a competely stock motor.

Don't use voltage or the light method. Use the resistance method as described in the Haynes manual. In my experience it works much better.

Put all the tps methods away for a second..... one led is supposed to be lit with engine hot, key on, because it puts a ground on the relief solenoid needed for emissions.

My tps (with key on engine hot)(BRAN NEW TPS TOO)will only turn on one led between .95v---.90v

If i set the tps at 1volt no led is lit meaning no ground on relief solenoid and bad emissions right at idle??????
