Throttle cable question

does anyone know if the 87-88 TII throttle cable is the same as the 89-91 TII cable? mine broke, and i dont wanna go through the trouble of taking a cable off the parts bitch if its not gonna work.

I dont think you will have a prolbem. If there is a difference I dont think it will be much to not make it work.

i think i have heard before though that there enough of a difference to make the 87-88 come up short

how do you tighten the throttle cable? i think mine needs some adjusting

you adjust the cable with the threaded end where the cable comes out. theres 2 nuts, loosen one and tighten the other accordingly.

that said..........does anybody know if those two cables are the same damnit
