I have a spare n/a tb that's litterally just a paperweight. And I have a t2 tb that's waiting to get put in if I get get the money for a t2 motor to rebuild. I know I won't be doing any of this crap to it now lol. Glad I asked. Good info.

 

I too fell victim many years ago to the tb mod craze. Waste of time and functionality. +1 for leave it alone

 

Are people doing the TB mod on stock TII's? My car is pretty moded (including the TB mod)... And quite frankly, I'd like to go back to a stock throttle body.

People who complain about the tb mod either did it wrong, or can't drive. Period.

Removing the bac is not part of the tb mod. Removing the thermowax is not a (mandatory) part of the tb mod. Doing these things are what causes 99% of complaints and they simply aren't necessary and offer zero benifit.
