Throttle Body Gasket no longer available.....What Next?
I need to replace a damaged TB to UIM gasket on my s4 turbo. I contacted Atkins and found it is only available if you buy the TB spacer for $92.50. http://atkinsrotary.com/store/87-88-...19-13-645.html
I'd rather not spend that much.
I thought about making my own but I'm unsure of what material to use.
Anyone have a suggestion?

Go to any auto parts store and purchase a roll of gasket making material. Most auto parts stores that I have been to carry about 4-6 different type of material. Choose the material that best suits your needs. They typically state what they are used for on the packaging. I paid about $7 and some change. A roll could probably make 6-8 of the gasket you're looking for. It takes a sharp razor knife and some time, but it is worth it.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions guys. I ended up buying a roll of gasket material from the auto parts store that is nearly identical to the original gasket and making my own.
Contrary to what is stated above, the gasket is not "molded" to the spacer. It came off with a good quality scraper in a handful of minutes without damaging the plastic.
I would have skim-coated it with RTV and called it a day, but the gasket was too far damaged for that. A small piece of 3/16 steel fell off my bench and punched a hole at one of the vacuum channels. Figured it was better to replace then to wing it with some sealant.
