throttle body ?

I am going to get rid of my wax valve and I will need to plug the nipple that comes off the top of the rotor housing and I used a rubber plug but I read some were that I need to plug that metal nipple with something first then put a plug on top of that. What can I use to put in that nipple. I saw on the Rotary Resurrection that he used high temp silicon but I would be afraid that it may get in the cooling system. If there is any body that has done this mod please let me know what you used.

tap it and thread in a plug. if you have the motor out try tapping it with the motor turned upside down so the shavings fall on the ground instead of in your motor. or iv seen people tap it with the motor still in with extra heavy grease on/around the tap so the shavings stick

I used something called water weld made by JB weld for wet situations... it didn't work very well, I don't think it likes coolant and it never fully cured.

I would just tap it and put a bolt in it. metal shavings won't really do much harm in the cooling system at least I don't think so.

How about the regular jb weld it says it is good up to 500° F I don`t know if this would work. I was going to jb weld it then put a rubber cap over it and clamp it down.
