Question Those running mechanical oil pressure gauges??

My question is what kind of line are you using? I have the racing beat adapter and I have a nylon line. It doesn't leak but I am not happy about my current setup. The line is so long I have to snake it from the filter over to the brake booster and around all the way back to the passenger side, then inside and back to the center console where my gauge sits. The gauge is a little slow to respond because all that line needs to fill up.

What is everyone using?

I used nylon for a really long time, and used it in every single car I had a mechanical gauge in, never had a problem

When I did the turbo swap I went over to a braided line just because I wanted to do it "better"

the braided lines are not alot of money- get one from summit

I don't like any fuel or oil inside the cabin.... I have a gauge that has its own sender, If i would have known I would have given it to you for helping me with the haltech.

any way I use Teflon S/S fuel lines on my car if that helps with your purchase

You could always toss the plastic line inside a piece of Rubber line to protect it.
I did that to make sure that the line would not Rub when it goes into the firewall and the cabin.it works real well to protect it,.

Not terribly concerned with the protection, just looking for alternatives. I'm just not happy because the line is like 10 feet long.

pop a small hole on the drives side of the firewall and install a grommet, this will allow you to run a much shorter hose
