those rubber sport antennas

do they have these for our cars? do they actually look good and not crappy? i saw one on an s2000 and it didnt seem out of place. our current antennas are so damn tall and get easily messed up if we go under a tree or something.

for best FM reception in North America you want a antenna 31.5 inchs.

most rubber antennas are only around 20 inchs so your reception will be reduced.

FM is what you use, if you listen to music on the radio but don't have sat.

Now if you listen to talk radio and don't have sat, then you use AM radio.

Mazdatrix sells a small rubber antennae, I have it on my car. My stock power one broke, so I got it, its around $20. I dont really use the radio all that much so I cant comment on reception...

I got one of those, universal rubber antena and its not that bad since I don't have a spoiler. But I bought a TII style spoiler and I'm gonna have it put on but I think it would look stupid having this big black antena sticking out all the time, even when the stereo is off don't you?? So I think when I get it put on, I'm also gonna have to buy a retractable antena so it won't look as bad when I'm not driving or the radio is off.

what do you guys think?

I think people dont know if your radio is on or off, so just leave it alone
