I don't care what anyone says i'm kinda interested in this HKS TID, but i want to know how much modding it'll take to get it to fit for the S4, i'm sure its not alot but i'd like to know before hand.

Here's a pic of my old engine bay with the Home Depot Racing TID. If you no one told you it was PVC, most people would never know. I think its more of a psychological opinion, since, now folks know its PVC, and PVC on a car gets catorgorized as cheap. Point is, if no one told them, they would think it was JDM mad tyt yo.

Also, I would agree that the flow is more restrictive, but I would agrue that it is unnoticable, BUT, measureable.

There's nothing psychological about it...

The only reason the restriction is "unnoticable" to you is because you have no way to compare it to anything else.

It's not like steel pipe and proper couplers are expensive or hard to get. I don't see why you'd want to go that cheap n' nasty just to save a few bucks.
