thinking of buying another 7

hey guys havent posted anything in awhile but anyways im thinking about buying a second generation to go along with my first generation but from what i can tell the motor in the car will start and run but when it warms up the oil preasure drops can any one help on this asap u can e-mail me at wnysorvr@yahoo.com

1. tell us more about the car (year, trim level, etc)

2. stock oil pressure gauge is not that accurate (although better than some I've seen)

3. the oil pressure is going to drop as it warms up, because the idle speed slows down.

all i kno about the car is that its a 86 and that it fine when cold but when it warms up it drops its oil preasure i contacted the seller tho to find out more and i am waiting to hear from him

i dont think thats really a problem, the sensor could be going i know on my car if you let it sit for about a min the pressure will drop down to the lowest point before 0, when you give gas it will go up to the normal level that could be the case?

You have to confirm any possible oil pressure problems with a gauge other then the stock one. The senders have a habit of failing in many strange ways.

If the oil pressure stays high when the engine is cold then lowers as it warms, the front cover o-ring could be blown out.
