thinking about upgrading my turbo and stuff

ok i finally got my rx7 and i am looking to get it running a big stronger, the motor is rebuilt and it has 8k on it since the rebuild. it is street ported (so he says) but he gave me the papers for the rebuild. now what i was thinking was getting an hks manifold with an external waste gate and maybe a to4 because i am tring to get at least 300 to 325 hp to the wheels, and maybe like 12 seconds, any advise? the car has an intake hks bov and a custom turbo back exhaust. i was told that the external wastegate is the way to go it helps get rid of boost creep, i got 720 injectors and i am getting my ecu done with the rtec 1.7 setup so if anyone has anything to add let me know thanks guys!

you can get close to 350 dpending on your port size, rtek 1.7 , BNR stage 2,your turbo exhaust, 4 720cc injectors, an RP fuel pump, CAI box mod, 3" TID, and a greddy electronic boost controller

Your not going to need 4x720cc or a EBC any kinda of boost controller would work as long as it holds up. you would want to ad a WBO2 and some sort of fuel controller to get that extra coverage in there.

going to need a FMIC, and get a good tuning so you dont go POP!

Exactly! New I was forgetting something. FMIC is in dire need. Check out one from a Isuzu NPR Box Truck. Mount it your self, then find someone to do all of the piping, I know someone here where I live that does all of the piping for only 100bux

To controll the boost up I would get an EBC, and 4 would give you the extra fuel, but two would be sufficient I suppose.

You don't need 4 x 720's for 300 to 350 at the wheels???

How would an Rtek 1.7 get him to 325hp? It isn't an adjustable A/F fuel controller as far as I know and I do have one.

You would need something to control your a/f above and beyond an Rtek for the numbers you are looking for. Cheapest route would be to add an Apexi SAFC along with the mods suggested above.

That would work provided you have the supporting mods.
