thinking about buying a t2.. has issues (wont stay running when warmed up)

he says it wont stay running when warmed up and he thinks its electrical. its a new motor from atkins.
what should i check when i go to look at the car? is it serious and should i stay away or an easy fix. all help apperciated and i did search with no luck

sounds like a water temp sensor. they are like 10$ from the autoparts store. dont tell him that though and offer 2.5k for a non running fc turbo

he might not even have it plugged in. its the green plug right behind the water filler neck. a lot of times those just get brittle and break and kids dont think they are very important.

hmm ic. i was looking at my n/a for that plug and i dont see it. do the n/a's not have it? i was just looking so i knew what to look for when i check his out.
any other opinons.
