Headlight kit idea.

Hmm, after looking at that, it got me wondering, is there a 1/2 or 3/4 lift headlight kit for the FC which uses a rectangular bulb thing? (lol) I think it would look better and would fit the style of the car a LOT better then the "round light" or the RE kits which cut into the FTP lenses. What do you guys think?

Think theres a kit out there that does something similar (or at least the guy was working on it last I checked...) Im doing something similar to the RE amemiya kit (less quality, and I dont cut out the FTP...It can be used to help brake ducting, or engine ventilation.)

I have both sides done, but dont have them both mounted yet.

You could set the motor to stop short, I believe, but youd have to check on that. Then all youd need to do is find a light that fits in the slot, and figure out a way to mount it, and youre cooking with gas. Or you can make a projection setup like what Im doing, and you dont have to worry about your flip up lights.

I think you can cut the light retractor arm down...That's what I was told a few years ago when i considered a similar conversion...

well, it would be like a lazy eye, but more as a "fully up, just shorter" kinda thing.

you cant cut the arm, need to get a headlight controller...pivot makes one like for $60 , adjusts 80-20%

I was looking more into what people thought appearance wise, not on how to make it, but thanks anyway.
