Thinking about buying a 13bt carb 1 genbut i have some questions!

Its has holley fuel pump 650 double pump holley carb , first gen 84 gsl ecu it also has headers and racing beat manifolds . The guy claims he took of the turbo cause it was blown and decide to run it without turbo for now until he had enough money to buy t66. He claims the car runs great without turbo . Is that possible to run a 88 13bt with no turbo ? And if so , what i am going to need "besides the turbo lines intercooler and $ "

Yes, but you should make sure it really is set up for a turbo, because that sounds scetchy. You will need a turbo manifold and a downpipe. IC pipes and bov, and you will need to retune the carb for a turbo. I would say that you should pass this one up unless its a steal of a deal.

Yes, the compression would just be a little lower than a stock non-turbo 13B.

To add a turbo, you will also need the turbocharger itself, rising rate fuel pressure regulator, wastegate, and wastegate controller. In other words, too much time, effort, and money to make it worth the trouble. I would say to pass on it all together unless you really like the rest of the car, and plan to sell off the engine for parts and replace it with something better. FYI I sold my running 88 TII with mild street mods for $2,000, so IMO $2,200 for that 1Gen is absurd unless the rest of the car is in show car condition.
