think i may have found my vac leak (pic)

think i may have found my vac leak (pic)

should i have blocked this off? i did the throttle body mod and i'm guessing i forgot to block this hole where the thermowax was. could this be my vacuum leak?

I'm guessing your using the dime to hold the compund in while it hardens and it's not there permanently right?

It's only a coolant port. That's where the coolant leaves the thermowax and flows up to the nipple on top of the TB. No vac leak here, except maybe that coin. I wouldn't expect that to last...

no its not a vac leak...isnt that where the coolant gets to the thermowax to warm it up?? i just looked at my spare that is out of the car and thats what it looks like to me.

You guys kill me. A pack of 1/8" NPT plugs is next to nothing. Get those and the tap and you'll never have to worry about something falling into the intake or creating a leak.
