think i found my problem

the guy that owned the car before me took pretty much anything un necessary out, so there is a gaping hole in the intake manifold under the BAC and above the turbo on the actual block, i could stick my finger in it, i this this might be wehre the EGR went. does that sound right?

well we made a sheet metal plate but i don't think its holding well, seems that the plate bowed, i need a real think plate, where can i get them?

i'm pretty sure this is my problem. also bad settingof the TPS

If that is where the EGR or ACV goes (not sure), K2RD sells block-off plates.

IT sounds like the split air pipe hose...doesnt have to be blocked off. The car would not run at all if the egr or acv were open.
Find the turbo's coolant supply line...metal line bolted onto the lower intake manifold by 2 10mm nuts. IS the hole behind this? If so, it is the SPA, adn doesnt have to be blocked off. IT used to go to the stock cats, was a metal pipe that ran down to them. Itr just carried air pump air.
