My TII is in the body shop right now after some a-hole hit and ran me.... I dreamed I was driving it last night, just cruising down the highway, just barely pulsing the throttle to pass with instant and powerful response....mmmmm.......

Things that I miss about my second gen

The parts of the frame rails, rear wheel wells, and pieces of the floor under the drivers seat that have rusted away...

My floorboard holes were on the passenger side, but otherwise, same here!

I sometimes miss some of the S5 features of my recently departed '90 GTU, though overall I like my "new" '88 GTU much better. I mostly miss the fact that the old car was red which I prefer to the black of my new one. I definitely don't miss the mouse belts.

lol agreed on the buzzer. i love that thing. go into a corner to hard and the buzzer goes off asking for oil. or ya forget to shift cause it just sounds like it wants to keep going.

Oh but it DOES want to keep going, but it'll hurt itself if it does... safety first!
