Thicker sway bars (suspencion tuning)

I have 1989 GTU 5speed with shocks from 89TurboII and front and rear sway bars and front shock tower crossbrace from Racing Beat. I like the shocks a lot, they offer good control without being too stiff. However the car takes too long to transfer the load to the outside weels and take set and feels a bit floaty during connering. I believe thicker sway bars are the answer with stiffer silicone bushings being another option. Does anyone know who makes sway bars thicker(stiffer) than Racing Beat's? Which ones are the thickest? Does anyone have any other ideas how to inprove my conner handling without changing the shocks?

Thanks a lot.
Allen.

Maybe try rhe Mazdatrix swaybar end links and some polyurethane bushings.

This is from memory:
Suspension Techniques front bar diameter - 1 1/16"
Suspension Techniques rear bar diameter - 3/4"
RB front - 1 1/8"
RB rear - 5/8"

You didn't mention springs - sort of difficult to assess w/o that info.

If you're running stock springs from TII or N/A that's half your problem, you would also benefit with aftermarket shocks. You won't see the full benefits of your car's cornering prowess if the components are mis-matched or missing a component that completes a concerted suspension pkg.

I don't think different sway bars is going to solve what you're after. RB makes good sway bars.
