Exclamation are they a problem?

i finally got my exhaust really really quiet with some silencers. the performance of my car doesnt feel as strong as it was. its it becuase the silencers dont give me enough air flow? the inlet is only about 1 1/2. and will they cause my car anyproblems in the future?

I dont think it will cause any problems to your car other then you loose power and i will give you an example of why.

ok say your drinking a soda and you use a normal straw like from Jack in the crack and then you drink the soda. You get pretty decent flow. now try useing a straw that they use to stir coffee with ( You know the really small ones) Your going to have to suck a whole lot harder to get the same amount of soda. Now which one do you want to use.

is your a series 4? does it start to feel ok after 4000 rpm? if so your silencer may be putting to much back pressure in the system and opening the 5th and 6th at too low of an rpm.

i had the same problem with my 87 na, had rb header rb presilencer to corksport catback. if i would install the silencer tip it would have those symptoms.
