Exclamation Are these JDM Apexi Coilovers any good?

Just wanna check if anyone has these or knows about them...

Apexi 237-Z001 Adjustable Soft/Hard Coilovers

I cant find anything about them on Google.

I plan on using them on my NA S5 FC along with my Racing Beat sway bars (F+B)

Just for road use... anyone know how much the drop is on the front and the range on the back?

does anyone know how old they could be?

as far as you can tell from the pics what is the condition?

thanks a lot in advance. comments are welcome.

my friend has them, rare find homie, you'd want to set the the stiffness either 3/4 of the way for aggressive streetness, some auto x, or 1/2 way for a good streetable smoother ride. 1" drop front and back over stock ride hight should be good, the lowest is 2" but thats alil to much imo.

these are bad *** coilovers man, very good from what i feel when i drive my friends car

Well the are obviosly old Apex shocks the springs could be apex or cusco or mazdaspeed or who knows but it makes sense that they would also be apex.

The condition can't be determined by the pics, the looked like they have been cleaned up so it is hard to say if oil has leaked out from the shocks and struts. You would be best off taking them apart and then testing the shocks. BE CAREFUL REMOVING THE TOP HATS!!!
IF you have not seen or done it before then I advise you to take them to someone that has the proper tools or can do them without destroying something hahaha.

you really should check them with the springs off before using them.

Good luck!

They are not coilovers.
I think they were called A'PEXi T-Max shocks.
Dunno what kind of springs those things are...
They are still using the stock strut tops.

With any JDM used dampers, it's a crap shot if they are still usable or not.

Minty?

"Sway bar end link" is the term you were looking for. Driving the car around without a tie rod end link would be VERY interesting to say the least.
