I just replaced mine. From what ive heard, the mazda ones are the best for our cars, they last the longest also. Ive had cheapo ones that crap out on me. It doesnt really matter cause they are an easy install, but still it is a pain in the ***.

Rotary Performance sells mazda thermostats, and nothin else. I think it's only like $13 (USD) from the mazda dealer, you have to pay shipping if you get it from RP (rx7.com).

I bought a 180 Degree aftermarket one for Advance Autoparts. Works great!

Normally, I would Dyre, but Soul Assassin lives in Japan. In Japan, there are a lot of other (BETTER!) parts that we can't get in the US. I would try and go with a lower thermostat if you can find one, Soul Assassin...like 180F or equivalent temp in C.

Stock is 190F.

180F = 82C
170F = 77C

So you're looking for a thermostat rated somewhere in that range.

Need more conversions?&nbsp http://www.speckdesign.com/Ttemperature.html
