GA Is there a way to test a boost gauge?

I just got a new boost gauge because I thought I was hitting my fuel cut and I wanted to see if that was it. But the boost gauge says I'm only producing 5psi before I feel it cut.

My question is, is there a way to test a boost gauge to see if its accurate? Its electric not mechanical if anyone cares.

need to compare it against an accurate gauge, most parts stores will rent a universal vacuum gauge that also shows boost(usually up to 10PSI).
