Is there a way to fix the GTU spoiler?

I have the spoiler and it has little cracks in the coating. You know how they are just made out of that foam covered in a plastic like coating. Well I don't want it to get all messed up if the coating is messed. You know like fill up with water. Is there anyway to fix it and get it repainted? What kind of sand paper should I use to take off the paint?

Check with a body shop. I think there is some similiarity with material in plastic bumpers. I think they have a way to fix those.
