Question Is there a way to disconnect power steering lines

mine have leaks
i need to changed them i tried to pull one line and it broke so i think i probably need to pull both of them
then head to the junk yard
and get some more

i just pulled my pwr steering completly and pluged the holes in the stering knuckle with screw in plugs and closed off the feed line also

I would recomend doing the depowering the steering rack procedure as I've outlined in the 2nd gen archives. I'd definetely recomend it, it's super! If you don't want to do it that way the lines are held on with banjo bolts mostly. Just trace the lines to where they meet the rack and pump and undo them using whatever fittings are there.

When i took mine off, they came off pretty easy..dont remember having any problems.

Do you have a part number for those? i need to get the screw in plugs for my 86.
