Is there a difference between turbo 2 and na starters?

Well I'm starting my trouble shooting this week. My car is not getting any spark or click click click click at all.

So I replaced the battery with the yellow top i was waiting to put in .. no luck.
Step 2 is to replace the starter.

I have a T2 swap in my vert and wanted to know if I need to get a turbo 2 or na starter. Is there even a difference? Is one better then the other?

Yes, there's a difference. I "kinda doubt" one's better since they both start a car.

Since the Flywheel is a different size from the TII to the N/A.I will say that there IS a Difference in the Starters..and Going even further..to say that the TII starter and the starter from an Auto Trans are the Same too...Unless you have the Other stuff to Support that Starter,You can't just go and Put a TII starter onto an N/A and call it a day..Now seeing you are Having a problem with Your Starter,You should be looking Into NEW,Not rebuilt. For some reason the Rebuilt ones Turn Defective Real quick.Look at New or Used.and make sure the Connections are clean from Battery to starter.Good Cables help too.

have you checked the ground that goes to the upper starter bolt? If you bang on the starter with a hammer while turning the key does it crank? THat is diag. Unless you have the money to start throwing stuff at it, that thats good too.
