is there?
is there an intake pipe made for an 88 gxl that replaces the black accordian pipe/ or pipe that connects the intake filter to the throttle body? i looked at some places that sell after market car parts and i've only had luck in finding for the 3rd gen. and the race shops i've been to say they dont even make those. if anybody knows where i can find some and how much they run, can you please let me know?
thanks, jiji

There is now a place(shop) that makes a cold-air intake but they want a ridiculous price. I forgot the website, you can find it if you search prolly. But custom is the way to go really. Just find a car with the same basic setup and buy a cheap kit for that car and cut it to fit.

Ha ha!
Chris at Checkpoint Engineering had said that this setup will cost $274 for s4 and $249 for s5.
He swears that a s5 na will lean out at 7000rpm, providing they have a way open exhaust! He suggested TII Injectors or a S-AFC. Also, a real seat of the pants Is felt In 3rd gear.
Price was already reduced a $100. Pipes come powder coated and will work Interchangably from one model to another. S4 na will fit s4 TII.
Hope that helps.

sounds like a waste of money and time if you ask me.....
Reminds me of something I heard the other day. I went to a meet between a bunch of the guys from here, the supraforums.com board, and other assorted people, and while I was checking out someone's single turbo Supra(some T-series, claimed to have dynoed at 550) when some kid walked up, looked at the engine compartment, and said "I've got more chrome than that". Keep in mind that the car was designed to be a sleeper, and didn't even have so much as aftermarket rims. I didn't know whether to start laughing or slap the kid.
