Well whenever it was cold, the car would make creaking noises when turning the steering wheel a 1/4 turn right or left. Never did it over 10 mph, and only when cold (about 20 minutes after starting and running it) I thought it was a power steering problem. But Mykl, said he had the same problem. Top strut mounts where the strut meets the frame. I loosened the strut nut with an impact, and then sprayed a shitload of grease in there. And retightened it, BINGO no more noise. Hasnt done it for 2 days now!

Wow uh, thank you for the thanks.

It isn't very often that people come up and thank other forum members who have helped them resolve an issue.

I'm glad you got it fixed.

Well, this'll be one of my last posts. I'm leaving for Saudi in the morning. I'll see you all in January.

Damn Saudi huh? See ya when you get back, take care!

Yeah I had to loosen it a little, so the lubricant would flow through the top.

yeah, mine makes a noise...but its not a creaking noise. when i first start the car up and go to turn...it makes a noise almost sounding like air-release. like the sound of a BOV or something. but it ONLY happens when first start up the car after its sat for like 2 hours or more. and ONLY happens during the first turn motion. after that it disappears. on the T2
