Testfitting of EGT guage in my GTU pics....(56k friendly)
So I have started the work on wiring and fitting my EGT gauge on my FC. The cool part about it is that the forum member that sold it to me included a VERY NICE panel for it to mount up. Check it out. I personally think its AWESOME!

this is currently my daily driver. But I am wanting to buy a bike and convert it to the "sometimes driver/weekend racer" but that all depends on how much cash I have this winter. There will be another IDENTICAL guage installed next to it for Rotor #1 as this is Rotor #2's guage. In the future I will also likely have an oil temp. guage in there. Unless I find another better pod.

About the CF thing, I don't really like the "interior CF" stuff its just a fad product if your using it like that. Yes I will be running two EGT guages because my exhaust never collects so I can't get a "full" readout on my EGT. I am running this one in the second rotor's pipe because its hotter than the front rotor for the time being. If I can get a lead on a cheap wideband under 250 bucks I migh also have that in addition for tunning purposes.

Ahh, I see.. CF isn't for some people.. I always despised it, but it grew on me.. Just like canister style mufflers.. I always hated them when I owned 5.0s and my Impreza, but I have a Corksport catback now.. I plan on doing nearly my entire interior in carbon fiber after I get a rebuild, BNR Stage 4, and a FMIC.. The only reasoning for that is, most of the interior pieces from FCs are old, look like crap, and are cracking. My interior is nearly perfect, but I don't understand why Japanese people think a blue interior matchs a red car..

I beleive in weight reduction and strengthening as much as the next guy. Using composits like CF and kevlar for this kind of parts does not positively increase the performance of my car. Given the cost of such items in composites its not only worthless its a drawback financially which hurts the overall progress of an already slow project.
