Terminals for Door to Body Harness plugs?
Terminals for Door to Body Harness plugs?
As I'm removing and cleaning more of the interior, I realized that I could use the existing door wiring harness connector housings and pins. These are the green (S4) or white (S5) plugs that connect the door wiring harness to the body harness. Thanks to some harnesses from another set of doors, I could accomplish this easily enough.
However, does anyone know if there's a source for the male and female crimp terminals? The connector housings are made by AMP/Tyco Electronics.
BTW, Icemark, I think you should add the part numbers for any electrical terminals to the sticky. I think it's cleaner to use the existing factory connector housings to install accessories (within reason and amperage ratings). It would also make wiring for Alarm installations less conspicuous to a thief.
