Tenth Anniversary low miles perfect condition

I have a 88(duh) Tenth Anniversary Rx-7, in near showroom condition, with 80xxx miles, the only modification is shaved door handles, but im thinking about finding a set of regular doors for sale and trading them out, what would my car be worth? I have seen some get over $8000 and i was wondering with the door handles what it would be, figuring it would be less, but if i could get some regular doors on there what could i get for it?

thanks

Ken

Wait a couple months to the weather is real nice then try selling it.

Its still too close to winter to get a decent price. You might get $4 - 5k right now with the doors fixed and nothing else wrong with the car.

'Nother couple of months when the kids are out of school and making summer job money, and everyone wants something fun to drive will increase the price up another $1k or $2k.

Yeah

If you are seriously interested in selling it, email me some pics to fast57@hotmail.com.

Unless you can find a collector, expect around $5-6k at most. There is not enough of a market for collectible AEs. Good luck!

Ha. 10th AE's have little premium over a Turbo II. Its not a collector car by any means. No one is going to give you $8k for an 80k mile Turbo II, 10th AE or not. Put it in storage for 15 years and try to sell it then if you want that kind of cash.
